Meet the team: Courtney Goodhead – Technical Sales

In the latest of our ‘Meet the team’ interviews we caught up with Courtney Goodhead who has been part of Kingfisher Technical Sales for 3 months now. Find out more here about how she has been getting on…

How long have you worked for Kingfisher? I started 3 months ago and already feel like part of the team 😊

What is your role in the Kingfisher team? Talk us through a typical day? My role includes generating quotes for existing and potential customers as well as providing technical support and customer service, all whilst looking for new sales leads.

What do you enjoy about your role? I like how diverse the role is, I am reaching out to new and existing customers for sales, but the job also has the technical element to it which keeps it interesting.

What is your favourite film and why? My favourite film is White Chicks, it never fails to make me laugh even though I have watched it so many times and remember it word for word.

I can’t get through the week without…. Coffee of course! I cannot function without a cup of coffee in the morning. Coffee is life haha.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? When I grew up, I wanted to be a teacher, which would be my worst nightmare now.

Who would your ideal dinner party guests be (Dead or alive)? My close family and friends.

What TV show are you currently binge-watching? I am currently watching Orphan Black for the second time! I like a series with lots of episodes.

Are you a morning person or a night owl? Definitely a morning person, I am more productive in the morning and ready for bed at 9pm every night.

Have you ever met anyone famous? I have met Dermot O’Leary and spoke to him in London at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Staycation or exotic holiday? An exotic holiday for sure.

Favourite food? Italian food.

Favourite drink? A classic Margherita.

What three things would you take to a desert island and why? I would take a fishing kit so I could eat, matches for a fire and a plane so I could leave when I was ready 😂
