Kingfisher Louvres proudly supports the 2025 Façade Awards

Our Commercial Operations Manager Jo Foulkes was invited to join a selected panel of industry experts to judge this year’s Façade Awards.

The Façade Awards has been organised by RCI magazine since its inception in 2020 with the aim to reward outstanding examples of façade design and promote the creative and innovative use of products and materials in the façade sector. Each year the awards showcase the hard work and dedication from both companies and individuals striving for the best within the industry.

The judging panel covers the full spectrum of the sector with each judge bringing their own expertise and perspective to offer insight into the submissions entered in each category. Jo was joined on the panel by representatives from façade product supplier Vivalda, main contractor Wates Group and the NFRC. With 15 years’ experience delivering architectural louvre systems to a wide range of commercial projects across multiple sectors as part of the Kingfisher Louvres team, Jo was well placed to provide her own perspective and insight into products used as part of the judging process.

This year the awards have received an unprecedented number of entries – in fact the ‘best new build project’ had to be split into three categories – commercial, domestic and education such was the quantity and strength of the entries received. All four judges had their work cut out to carefully review the merits of the submissions to compile a shortlist and agree on winners in each of 13 categories. The category winners are then automatically entered into the overall RCI Project of the Year award – again chosen by the judging panel.

The shortlist has recently been announced and the winners will be revealed at a lunch ceremony on Friday 7th November at the Midland Hotel in Manchester.
