Co-op Live arena, Manchester

Kingfisher’s louvres can be found in a wide range of commercial buildings including venues such as the Co-op Live in Manchester, the largest entertainment arena in the UK with a capacity of 23,500.

Working with our client Lindner Prater we supplied KW75D and KW100D double bank louvre blades PPC coated to RAL 9005/9011 on a phased basis. The louvres were installed in elevations on the main building, in the service yard and as part of the ventilation turrets.

Rachel Jones in our Technical Sales team really enjoyed working with Lindner Prater on this project and got involved at an early stage assisting with pressure drop calculations on different louvre blades before the decision was made to go with a double-bank system.

Stop press: (December 2025) Co-op Live has been awarded Excellent status by BREEAM under New Construction, a leading sustainability assessment for new buildings across multiple sectors. This global standard supports the venue’s drive as one of the world’s most sustainable live entertainment areas, and their continued push towards Net Zero Carbon.
